Business mentoring is a very useful tool in building up the technical expertise, management skills and personal confidence of a new business owner, manager or budding entrepreneur. In recognition of this important partnership, especially for small and micro businesses, the Business Intelligence Network offers its members that are in need of such a developmental engagement with the opportunity of a mentoring partnership.

The BIN would however only serve as a linkage point and meeting platform between the mentor and the would-be client or protégé. Members are encouraged to be as comfortable as possible with the mentor that they have the liberty to choose. The BIN would make every effort to ensure that registered business mentors have proven mentoring ability and experience in the particular area(s) of need. The member is however responsible for the choice and process of the mentorship relationship.
